Arca South: Ayala Land’s New Business and Lifestyle District in the City of Taguig
Arca South is a 74-hectare master-planned, mixed-use development strategically located along the East Service Road of the South Luzon Expressway and is easily accessible via C-5. It is a mixed-use commercial development with retail, commercial, office, institutional, residential developments and other uses.
The development will be beside the much-anticipated modern Integrated Transport System (ITS) planned by the Department of Transportation and Communication. The ITS will serve as a central station for all provincial buses carrying passengers to and from Laguna, Batangas, Quezon and the Bicol Region. The ITS is also beside a PNR rail station which can link passengers to other areas of Metro Manila, and the rest of Luzon.
Accessibility remains a key advantage of Arca South as the government also plans to create a direct link from the Metro Manila Skyway, which will also extend to the C-5 and C-6 highways. With the Skyway connection, it will make Arca South more accessible to the international airport, the Makati Central Business District and Bonifacio Global City.
Arca South, the newest central business district south of the Metro
Behind the name – Arca South
Combined with our placemaker South, the name’s origin " arca", the circumference of a circle or curve, encompasses the various dimensions of Arca’s role as a portal to progress. A complete business and lifestyle district synchronized with the loop of Metro Manila’s master planned growth centers, a gateway to contemporary conveniences bringing life to fruition.

Arca South Phase 1 Development Timeline
The Mall of Choice in Metro Manila's Southern Gateway
At the heart of Arca South is a lifestyle and entertainment destination as Ayala Malls brings a new commercial center that offers the best shopping, dining and entertainment choices. As Metro Manila's Southern Gateway, the new retail development will offer the most popular local and global brands. The newest cross-section of the North and the South will include a regional mall and a lifestyle mall, as well as a novel transit-oriented mall, which will provide a focal point to the government's awaited highway projects.
The lifestyle mall, scheduled to open by the end of 2017, will occupy over three hectares of Arca South land and will offer a total shopping floor area of 103,000 sqm. It will showcase top fashion brands, specialty retail stores, and fine-dining establishments, all integrated by a wide park with a garden and open-air vibe.
Office Spaces that Work
The Arca South Corporate Center is designed to offer a prestigious, distinct and convenient work environment with facilities that support 24/7 tenant operations. With 96,000 square meters of gross leasable area (GLA), office spaces will be spread out through six mid- rise buildings with the first phase slated to open by 2017. Each building will be stacked on top of a ground floor retail area.
Taking advantage of Arca South's strategic location and access to and from major transportation channels, a more convenient commute for office employees is expected to increase their efficiency and productivity at work.
Comfort and Value at Seda Arca South
Like other properties under the Seda Hotel brand, Seda Arca South will "fuse contemporary design with the local vibe to create an inviting place where relaxation, play and work can mix." The 265-room Seda Arca South aims to be the preferred destination of discerning and savvy travelers doing business in Arca South.
Like the office spaces, the hotel development will also be built on top of an Ayala mall so that shopping will be convenient for hotel guests.
Easy Access to "The Gateway of the South"
The 74-hectare enclave is strategically located along the East Service Road of the South Luzon Expressway in the area which was once part of the FTI-Complex. Arca South is just approximately 7 kilometers from the Makati Central Business District, 5 kilometers from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Bonifacio Global City. Access to Arca South should become even easier as development progresses. In the pipeline is the government's Skyway and C5/C6 Connector Road Project that links the district to the rest of Metro Manila, making Arca South one exit away from Makati. Similarly, the completion of the much-anticipated NLEX-SLEX connection project, will bring the development closer to even the key cities outside of Metro Manila.
Arca South is also being touted as the "gateway of the south" because it will be right beside DOTC's Intermodal Transport System (ITS.) The ITS will serve as a central station for all provincial buses carrying passengers to and from Laguna, Batangas, Quezon, and the Bicol Region. Envisioned to accommodate up to 4,000 buses serving 200,000 commuters, the ITS would make travelling easier for those who prefer taking public transportation.
Within Arca South, a reliable private transport system with designated stops throughout the development will make getting around safe and convenient.
A Dynamic and Progressive Mixed-use Development
In the pipeline is the government's Skyway and C5/C6 Connector Road Project that links the district to the rest of Metro Manila, making Arca South one exit away from Makati.
Designed to develop a campus-type of development, Arca South has dedicated 40 percent of the total area to open space providing opportunities for convergence and leisure.
What sets Arca South apart from other central business districts will be the low to mid –rise buildings and the integrated basement parking system. With no vehicles parked at street level, Arca South will be pedestrian- friendly.

By 2018, the developers also look forward to completion of Phase 1 projects for Ayala Land Premier (ALP) and Alveo residential properties and the opening of a 250-bed QualiMed Quarternary Hospital.
In the flurry of construction activity, one thing is certain: At Arca South, Ayala Land's vision and commitment to excellence continues to shine through.
